Major Features

● The 19” cabinet standard 3U panel-mounted all-metal structure can prevent EMI/RFI interference. Due to an independent plug-in card design, optional channel cards, master control cards and power supply cards can be used as required to set up a gas monitoring system with up to 1,000 point locations;

● The master control card is characterized by LCD Chinese display and character menu operation. It can monitor the system’s concentration, alarm and failure statuses. It can also be used to set and search various parameters. It can set system time, range (%LEL, ppm and %VOL), three alarm types, alarm concentration, password, and operating authorization and search up to 999 alarm and failure records and 100 startup/shutdown records;

● The master control card’s RS485 bus communication interface, equipped with a standard MODBUS protocol, can communicate with the host control systems and connect fire and gas systems to improve the system integration level;

● Channel cards can receive 4-20mA signal or switching value signal input and be connected with various devices, including combustible gas detectors, toxic and hazardous gas detectors, oxygen detectors, flame detectors, smoke/heat detectors and manual alarming buttons, etc.;

● With a LED display accuracy of 0.000-9999, channel cards can monitor external equipment’s concentration, alarm and failure statuses on a real-time basis and communicate with the master control card. Channel cards can also work independently and be used to set parameters of detectors. Thus, failure of the master control card or failure of other channel cards will not have an impact on channel cards’ gas monitoring;

● Channel cards’ multiple output types are applicable to linkage of various on-site external control devices, good for integration of the host control system;

● Power supply cards supply DC24V power supply to internal devices of the host computer and on-site devices (in case of higher capacity, use special-purpose firefighting power supply).

Wiring Diagram

Connection terminals:

Master control card:  

NO (normally open) and COM (common): (2 sets) output terminals for relay external control signals output terminals

A+, PGND and B-: RS485 communication interface connection terminals

Power supply card:

L, PE and N: AC220V power supply terminals

B+ and GND: connection terminals of standby power supply

Channel card: 

F1+ and F2-: connection terminals for relay signal output in case that a detector is faulty

LA1+ and LA2-: connection terminals for relay signal output in case that a detector gives a low alarm

HA1+ and HA2-: connection terminals for relay signal output in case that a detector gives a high alarm

GND and 4~20mA (OUT): (4~20) mA signal output terminals

GND, 4~20mA (IN) and +24V: input terminals for (4~20) mA or passive switching value signals

Internal terminal: no operation required
